They are pollinators, looking for nectar wherever they can. When a female is not producing eggs, she will also eat nectar.

Mosquitoes prefer warm, moist environments. They only need a small amount of water to breed, so keeping your home or business free of any standing water is key. They are extremely active after a spell of rain, and are happy to feast on any humans or animals in their wake. They are not particularly fond of dry heat or the cold.
