Mice are a significant threat to the integrity and sanitary conditions of Southeast Michigan properties. These rodents are known to carry various diseases and can introduce parasites like fleas or ticks into your living environment. Their constant need to gnaw means they often target electrical wiring, insulation, and wooden supports. This behavior creates fire hazards and leads to expensive repair costs. Because mice reproduce at an alarming rate, a single pair can result in a massive population in just a few months.
Look for tiny, dark pellets shaped like grains of rice along baseboards, inside drawers, or in pantry corners.
Check for chewed food packaging, damaged wires, or small holes in the corners of cabinets and floorboards.
Watch for shredded paper, fabric, or insulation tucked away in dark, undisturbed areas like attics or basements.
Listen for light scratching or running noises coming from inside the walls or above the ceiling at night.
